Hungry for Change – addressing food insecurity for children and young people affected by poverty

WASCA staff, Board Members and Canteen Supervisors were privileged to be part of the inquiry into the most effective ways for Western Australia to address food insecurity for children and young people affected by poverty.

The inquiry report made a total of 24 recommendations all of which highlight the need for more funding, more focus, and more Government responsibility for addressing food insecurity in schools across WA.  To read the full report see here
