- 500g frozen mixed berries (fresh seasonal berries can also be used)
- ⅓ cup caster sugar
- Place berries and sugar in a saucepan, bring to the boil
- Simmer on low heat until berries have softened and sugar has dissolved
- Blend with a stick blender until a liquid sauce is formed, set aside to cool completely. The sauce will thicken slightly on standing
- Use as a topping on pancakes, crepes or waffles (see recipes on WASCA Website).
