The Robin Bromley Visionary Grants program aims to empower Canteen Supervisors to undertake professional development and training and/or enhance the canteen by purchasing essential equipment with funds provided by this program.
This is a Western Australian School Canteen Association Inc. (WASCA) initiative in partnership with Canon Foods.

Heart Foundation Walk to School Day – Wednesday 21 October 2015
Walk to School Day is just around the corner and this year the Heart Foundation would like to have more students than ever involved. Walking to school is a great way to be physically active. Encouraging students and their families to walk to school can also help to reduce the number of cars on nearby roads and in school car parks making it much safer to access the school zone. To register your school: www.walkoveroctober.com.au
A School Event Kit and promotional resources will be sent to you electronically and will also be available for download. To receive free Walk Over October merchandise schools need to register by Friday 18 September 2015. By registering schools go in the draw to win some fabulous prizes including sneakers and school excursion.
School canteens often provide a breakfast one morning during the week. Offer healthy options to kick start the day e.g. scrambled egg cups, yoghurt and muesli, fruit, warm milo, fruit toast and pikelets. We would love to know how your canteen gets involved so please send us email with your story and photos firstname.lastname@example.org
